Why this site?
In 1997 I had a meeting with the then Headmaster of Saxon School with regards a project I was planning to set up with his consent. The idea was to set up a "Friends of Saxon School" website which would in turn assist with raising funds to regenerate the School swimming pool. To start the project I needed some photographs of the School, so I was given permission to walk around and take some both inside and out, these were then approved by the then Headmaster. Unfortunately the project never completed due to issues unrelated with it. I did of course however store the photographs.
In approximately 2015 I was shopping in Shepperton with my Sister. While looking around the Queen Elizabeth's foundation charity shop, my Sister found an old print of Shepperton Green School. There was no question I had to purchase it. I had never seen the print before so I thought I would share it on “The Friends of Shepperton” and “Shepperton Green and Saxon School Photo Club” Facebook Pages. Well I have never had such a response from a couple of posts! I am still receiving messages and e-mails about both Schools. A lot of people were asking about the photographs I had taken years ago. I thought the best way to share them was to put them up on a very basic webpage, which I did. People then started sending class photographs from both the schools to use on the site. I then thought I would upgrade the site from a basic one to one that could show all the photographs and include other information about the two Schools and possibly a communication board for people to discuss the Schools. I discussed this idea with a few people who had contacted me and they thought I should go ahead, so here it is.
If you have any class photographs from either Shepperton Green or Saxon Schools or any photographs of the Schools and are happy to share can I please ask you e-mail them to me to include on the site at

.If you find an error can you please let me know please. I am not 100% sure if some of early 70's ones are in the correct school. I will be updating this site regularly, so please come back frequently to see the latest additions and information.
